How I help

Relationship difficulties

Do you keep ending up in the same kinds of relationships or arguments, or feel disconnected from the people around you? Therapy can help you understand these patterns and build more fulfilling connections.

You might notice

  • Repeating the same relationship patterns
  • Feeling disconnected or lonely
  • Conflict with partners, family or friends
  • Struggling to trust or open up
  • Losing yourself in other people’s needs
  • Feeling misunderstood

How therapy can help

Using relational-cultural therapy, we look at how your past and present relationships shape the way you connect with yourself and others.

Together we notice where you get stuck, and practice new ways of relating that feel more honest and connected.

Common questions

What will the first session be like?

First, we’ll schedule a free consultation so that you can figure out if I’m the right fit for you. If we move forward together, I’ll ask you a lot of “getting to know you” questions, so that I can get a better idea of what’s bringing you into therapy.

Need urgent help? If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For urgent support, call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (free, 24/7). This practice cannot offer crisis support.
